Fin's Shoes selected Lab Lateral to build an eCommerce solution for their range of designer men's shoes. The brief was to create a contemporary website reflecting style and sophistication in order to draw their target market into the site. The online shopping experience had to be streamlined and efficient with a clear overview of the products, incorporating details such as colours and stitching that demonstrate the high quality of the shoes. It had to be easy to navigate and functional whilst strongly promoting the brand image. Lab Lateral worked closely with Fin's Shoes to ensure that design ideas and functionality requirements were translated into an easy to use eCommerce solution.
Content Management System and Email Marketing Solution
The web development also included Lab Lateral's Content Management System and Email Marketing Solution. Fin's Shoes employees needed the capability to easily modify content and fulfil orders coming in from the site. To satisfy this requirement, Lab Lateral integrated the eCommerce Solution with their order fulfilment company and the payment provider, Protx, for quick and simple online payment processing. They also required an email marketing tool that allowed them to communicate with their clients regarding news and special promotions.
