Jo Jingles appoints Lab Lateral to develop its new eCommerce solution
London, UK (26/03/2010)
eCommerce Web Development for franchise business Jo Jingles appoints Lab Lateral to develop its new eCommerce solution Jo Jingles is a franchise business that provides music and singing classes for babies and young children. It is one of the UK's most popular music classes for kids and very well known with over 100 franchises across the UK and Ireland. Lab Lateral has recently redeveloped the eCommerce solution and functionality on the Jo Jingles website, and constructed their new franchise management system. One of our creative partners, Rubber Cheese, provided the designs that were applied to the web development.
The website was out of date and needed a facelift as well as reprogramming of all menus and page structures to give the site a fresh new look and a high degree of usability. The existing eCommerce solution also needed redeveloping for their online shop to be successful. The various micro sites belonging to franchisees also needed to be streamlined to comply with the company branding.
Lab Lateral's eCommerce Solution, adapted for Jo Jingles
Jo Jingles was selling products on its existing website but the online shop was not profitable and required a new eCommerce Solution to increase sales. The target audience was primarily parents of young children who did not have a great deal of time to spend on the purchase process. Lab Lateral adapted its eCommerce product to suit the needs of Jo Jingles and to make the online shopping experience as quick and streamlined as possible. The products were displayed in a more attractive manner with easy to access extra information, giving the customer as much product detail as required when making a purchase.
Web Development to improve profitability
New class booking pages were set up to allow local classes to be booked on the central website. The process for booking was made as simple as possible with class schedules and locations clearly laid out. Business efficiency was dramatically improved by having this option online as it cut down on paperwork and administration tasks. Business opportunity pages to attract new franchisees were also added.
Franchise and Content Management System
The web development resulted in a much better franchise management solution, with a centralised system to control content, branding and sales whilst giving franchises the autonomy to operate independently. Lab Lateral created a website template for the franchise micro sites that was in keeping with the brand colours and designs. Jo Jingles also required a Content Management System to ensure quick and easy modification of their website, cutting down on administration costs and ensuring that content is always kept up to date.
The website was launched today and we wish Jo Jingles every success with their new web development and look forward to working with them in the future. Jo Jingles has also engaged Lab Lateral's Search Engine Optimisation services to help increase the performance of the new website.
